LIVE FREE

• LIVE CONSORTIUM, a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, educates the Houston community not only about HIV & AIDS, but also about how to break through the harmful barriers preventing individuals from talking about the disease.

• LIVE Founder and CEO, Beau Miller, was inspired to create an AIDS Services Organization dedicated to fighting HIV-related stigma after he faced social discrimination as someone living with HIV. Consequently, LIVE was established on January 27, 2009.

• LIVE holds firm in the belief that by reducing HIV-related stigma, more people will get tested, enter treatment, and talk openly about HIV to others. With a more informed community, more people will see the need for HIV prevention, a cure, and a life free of isolating secrecy.
